MY EXPERIENCE AT THE BUSINESS EXHIBITION – NOVEMBER 20th to 30th, 2025
Category: EXHIBITION
Type: Update
Last week, from November 20th to 30th, 2025, I had the opportunity to participate in the Business Exhibition organized by the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) in collaboration with the Office of the Regional Commissioner of Morogoro.
For me, this wasn’t just another event — it was a powerful step forward in my journey as an entrepreneur and as the Founder of Biashara Initiative.
During the exhibition, I had the chance to showcase both my business training services under Biashara Initiative and my SOFAMU branded spice products.
The products I presented included:
Tea Masala
Garlic Paste
Dried and ground ginger
Tomato Paste
In addition to exhibiting my products, I also took the opportunity to introduce visitors to our new website, where aspiring entrepreneurs can explore various business and entrepreneurship courses designed to empower and inspire them.
A WARM AND ENCOURAGING RESPONSE.
The response from visitors was truly inspiring. Many people were drawn to the aroma and quality of the SOFAMU spices, some made purchases, and others were eager to learn more about how the products are made.
What touched me most was seeing people visiting my website right there at the exhibition — reading about our courses and expressing their interest in joining. It was clear that the work I’m doing through Biashara Initiative is beginning to reach and impact more people.
Key LESSONS AND INSIGHTS
First, this exhibition helped me understand which products attract customers the most and why. That knowledge will guide me to improve and strengthen the brand’s value and appeal.
Second, I learned the importance of adapting to market needs. I realized that packaging products in different sizes allows you to reach more customers and meet their budgets.
That’s why I decided to introduce different packages — for example, TZS 1,000, 2,000, and 5,000 — to serve customers of all income levels while maintaining the same quality.
Third, I discovered that exhibitions are not only about making sales — they’re about connecting, learning, and exploring new business opportunities.
I met entrepreneurs doing incredible things that I had never imagined before, such as:
Producing a variety of products from seaweed, including soap, oil, flour, and even capsules.
Creating soy-based meat, which amazed me completely.
Local coffee producers right here in Morogoro — something I didn’t know existed!
Each encounter was a learning experience. Every conversation was a lesson. Every product I saw opened my eyes to new opportunities within the world of entrepreneurship.
In Conclusion
The exhibition held from November 20th to 30th, 2025, was a meaningful experience and a turning point for me. It gave me a platform to introduce SOFAMU spices, promote the work of Biashara Initiative, and showcase our new website to a wider audience.
It marked the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in my entrepreneurial journey — and I truly believe that greater things are yet to come.
